There was something off about it. I felt someone in pain.
So much to the point that I nearly passed out from it.
There's a lot of things I'm feeling lately.
I guess I just want to make sure you're ok and being careful.

No. It felt distant but close at the same time
like when I felt Mother Superior.
I think it might have been Sodder in pain.

[ Kurt feels a moment of alarm. Jean has felt Mother Superior? He types out a couple of messages and then deletes them. ]

I've spoken to Sodder. I think. sadly, it wouldn't surprise me if she is in pain

I guess you could say that.
When I felt Mother Superior, I picked up on what she was feeling during that broadcast.
I felt her nerves, her anxiousness. Like she was trying to convince herself what she was doing was for the right reasons.

Charles and I followed her psychic trail best we could.
It took us to the mountains where the lab is but
We couldn't get very far.
There was so much pushback there, I've never felt anything like that.
Charles and I couldn't handle it and it put us under.

Then when the dome shattered, right before it, I felt so much pain all around me.
I almost passed out from it.
I'm just starting to feel them more.

[ Kurt's reply comes fast. The more he learns, the more worried he gets. ]

Jean, this all sounds very dangerous

these creatures aren't like you or me, they're.. I still don't know what they are
if they're even human
the things they've done to us here fill my soul with dread

When Charles and I were faced with whatever it was that was pushing back at us, I could barely stand it.
But when I dug deeper inside myself it felt like I could. Like I could push back at it.
